Job Description

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the work of maintenance personnel: mechanics avionics technicians sheet metal workers interior mechanics and other classifications under their responsibility.

This position is a great opportunity for a certified technician looking to move into a supervisory role and contribute to the performance and reliability of our fleet.

Main Responsibilities

  • Motivate and guide employees to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure all maintenance work on company aircraft complies with MCM/MPM requirements and manufacturer manuals.
  • Review aircraft logbook entries issued by the maintenance department.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure aircraft are serviceable for scheduled departures.
  • Recommend safety training or process improvements to the Hangar & Line Maintenance Manager.
  • Monitor and report absenteeism tardiness and performance issues to the Hangar & Line Maintenance Manager.
  • Promote a positive and progressive approach to discipline in collaboration with management.
  • Coordinate with other maintenance bases to ensure proper follow-up on aircraft discrepancies.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Hangar & Line Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications :

  • College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a certified technician
  • Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance license
  • Knowledge of the AMOS system (an asset)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience as a team leader (an asset)
  • Recent certification on Air Transat aircraft (an asset)
  • Bilingual (French and English)*


Additional Information :

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English both orally and in writing with colleagues customers and other stakeholders in Quebec the rest of Canada and internationally.
