Job Description

Job Title: Head of Marketing Oncology - Innovative Assets (Launch Incubation)

Reporting to: Cluster Head (Launch Incubation)

Team size: 2-3 Group Product Managers

Location: Hyderabad

 

Context:

in its journey to move from #10 rank to #5 rank in the Indian Pharma Market has turbocharged its product innovation agenda. Under this effort Dr. Reddys has lined up a strong list of innovative launches for the India market in the next 5 years either through own R&D or partnerships with global innovator companies.

To ensure these innovative launches reach their fullest potential in the Indian market strongly believes in the importance of robust pre-launch medico-marketing marketing and market access activities. In this regard Dr. Reddys has setup a dedicated Launch Incubation cluster to focus on the pre-launch activities for the innovative launches.

This team will be compromised of talented marketing professionals who will work with the rest of the organization (medical market access R&D supply chain regulatory) to create an integrated pre-launch plan and ensure the relevant stakeholder network (doctors payers institutions associations regulators) is sufficiently engaged to ensure timely and rapid adoption of the products.

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Marketing to lead the marketing efforts for our Launch Incubation cluster focusing on innovative assets within the non-oncology therapy areas (e.g. Dermatology Diabetes and Gastroenterology).

This role will involve developing integrated marketing plans to bring innovative products to market executing pre-launch activities and ensuring adequate hand-off to the line marketing and sales teams for breakthrough launch uptake.

The key work will be to incubate the innovative assets from a marketing medico-marketing regulatory and market access standpoint from T-24 to T-6 months before launch.

Key requirements:

 

Deep functional expertise in

  • Foundation insighting based on patient journey
  • Brand strategy and positioning
  • HCP segmentation and targeting
  • Omni-channel marketing and engagement plan
  • Patient support programs

Strong leadership and collaboration skills to work with Medical team on

  • Medical strategy and messaging
  • Evidence generation
  • Indication expansion strategy
  • KOL advocacy

Mature leadership and alignment skills to work closely with line marketing and sales teams for

  • Building HCP segmentation and targeting plan
  • Ensuring strong KOL and association engagement plan before launch
  • Ensuring robust alignment on key commercial decisions

Strong understanding of Market access modalities

  • Understanding payer landscape
  • Building value dossier
  • Accessing reimbursement business
  • Building early access programs

Effective external stakeholder engagement & partnerships

  • Engaging with key stakeholders including doctors patient advocacy groups industry experts and potential partners to build strong relationships that drive growth and visibility for innovative assets.
  • Collaborating with external agencies consultants and innovation partners to optimize marketing campaigns extend reach and manage assets product life cycle.

Inspirational team leadership & cross-functional collaboration

  • Leading and mentoring a team of talented marketing professionals
  • Fostering cross-functional collaboration with R&D BD marketing excellence commercial excellence medical HR line marketing and sales teams to ensure cohesive execution of pre-launch activities in line with business objectives

 


    Qualifications :

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelors in a STEM area
    • MBA from reputed institute

     

    Experience:

    • 10-15 years of core marketing experience
    • Proven track record of launching and building innovative products.
    • Deep therapy expertise in atleast one of the following therapy areas - Oncology
