Job Description
Responsible for managing and leading the New Product Development and continuous improvement engineering teams executing designs and overseeing the development testing and documentation of assigned projects. Coordinates with Current Product Support Engineering to ensure smooth product transitions to the shop floor and supports field issue analysis and resolution. Assists in researching and specifying design solutions develops project timelines and cost projections and regularly reports on project status. Prepares and delivers presentations on project progress product research and related topics while also performing additional duties as assigned by management.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and have at least 10 years of experience in product development testing and engineering management. They should possess a strong understanding of the full product development cycle and be proficient in creating mechanical designs using CAD software. Effective people and schedule management skills are essential along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs-including Word Excel and PowerPoint-is required and the candidate must be capable of handling proprietary information with strict confidentiality.
