The Role

As the Portfolio Manager you are responsible for supporting the successful planning execution and delivery of work efforts of the Portfolio(s) assigned to ensure alignment with Portfolio goals and priorities. Partner with assigned Domain and/or Chapter Area Leaders to ensure completion of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) track and monitor work requests ensuring suitability against Portfolio objectives use data analytics to identify and advocate new or existing focus areas and to highlight areas of concern oversee costs against budgets and create measurements of success. Oversee and execute on FFIOT Jira administration inclusive of assignment exploration execution and closure of Business Unit work tickets.

Major Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment and KPI Monitoring

    • Partner with Product Chapter and Domain Leaders to understand and report on technology KPIs.

    • Monitor progress and ensure key stakeholders are informed of potential risks and achievements.

  • Data Analysis and Insights

    • Collaborate with relevant teams to identify data anomalies and trends.

    • Analyze data to develop insights and recommend solutions for portfolio success.

  • Executive Reporting and Communication

    • Develop executive-level presentations to communicate progress and facilitate decision-making.

    • Generate ad hoc data sets to support recommendations and anticipate potential issues.

  • Finance Management

    • Prepare financial analysis and participate in strategy development.

    • Analyze financial data to ensure alignment with portfolio objectives.

  • Jira Administration and Problem Resolution

    • Manage Jira inquiries and ensure timely resolution of work tickets.

    • Use Jira expertise to support efficient project execution.

Problem Solving

The Portfolio Manager will leverage data analysis to identify issues propose solutions and influence decisions. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Working Relationships / Contacts

  • Domain/Chapter Area Leaders:Regular collaboration to ensure alignment and progress.

  • Key Stakeholders:Frequent communication to update on portfolio status and address concerns.

  • Cross-Functional Teams:Coordination to support portfolio initiatives and resolve issues.

The impact of this role is significant in achieving strategic initiatives through effective data analysis and stakeholder management.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.

  • 8-10 years of experience in portfolio/program management or related technology/operations experience.

  • Understanding of the portfolio from an end-to-end customer experience perspective with the ability to make recommendations and anticipate problems.

  • Ability to adapt and redirect rapidly changing Portfolio priorities in response to changes in business requirements and/or insights gained.

  • Proactive approach to learning and leading within the portfolio.

  • Strong data storytelling skills to influence at all levels.

  • Ability to identify key stakeholders and build strong working relationships.

  • Proficiency in Jira software for project management and problem resolution.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality while meeting deadlines.
