We are looking for a technically capable and service-oriented IT Engineer L1 to join our IT support team. This is a full-time onsite role at our Head Office in Khayaban-e-Amin Lahore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support assisting with hardware and software issues and ensuring smooth technical operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to user queries and service requests related to IT hardware software and networking
Perform basic troubleshooting of desktops laptops printers and other peripherals
Assist in the installation configuration and maintenance of operating systems and software
Provide support for email configurations VPN access and mobile device connectivity
Maintain user accounts and permissions through Active Directory and Microsoft 365
Monitor system performance and report recurring issues to Level 2 or Network teams
Document support incidents resolutions and procedures in the help desk system
Ensure security updates antivirus software and patches are up-to-date
Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up IT workstations
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and software licensing
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field
1 year of experience in IT support or desktop support role
Good knowledge of Windows OS (10/11) MS Office 365 and common productivity tools
Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP DNS DHCP LAN/WAN)
Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g. Freshdesk Spiceworks or Jira)
Hands-on experience with system imaging backup tools and endpoint security
Ability to diagnose hardware/software issues quickly and efficiently
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Certifications such as CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Fundamentals or equivalent are a plus
