Brandt is experiencing exciting growth and were looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our in-house IT team supporting operations across Australia and New Zealand. This is a full-time permanent position based at our Head Office in Ballarat Victoria.

About the Role:

As an IT Support Technician youll play a vital role in supporting our expanding ICT infrastructure. Working closely with our team youll provide responsive high-quality technical support while helping to manage and grow our systems across both Australia and New Zealand. Youll also be responsible for ensuring all external contractor work meets required safety standards and will serve as a key point of support for our local branches.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Install troubleshoot service and repair end-user computers (desktop laptop workstation) phones networks and other communication systems
  • Respond promptly to service issues and user requests
  • Provide technical support across the business both in person and remotely
  • Set up accounts and configure systems for new users
  • Maintain and upgrade hardware as needed
  • Test and support new technology implementations
  • Assist with computer and network-related purchasing decisions
  • Travel to local branches when required

About you:

What were looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar IT support/administration role
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT systems devices and networks
  • Solid understanding of IT best practices including system security
  • Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
