Job Description
Salary: MPS - UPSFTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)
Working Pattern:This is a full time permanent positionworking 1.0 FTE 39 weeks per year
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our wonderful team to undertake the role of English Teacher at Pilton Community College a truly inclusive school.
You will:
- Teach English across the age and ability range in accordance with the requirements of a professionally qualified teacher
- Adapt and deliver lessons to students according to their educational needs and with reference to prior attainment and SEND as required
- Set high expectations for all students
- Embrace the continued professional development programme within the school striving to be a lifelong learner maximising opportunities to make impact within the role.
Pilton Community College is a school with an ambitious common curriculum. We have a centralised behaviour system and are focused on reducing teacher workload.
