Service Desk Support Analyst

About the role

You will provide a combination of Service Desk and Desktop Support with a focus on level 2 tasks which tend to be more complex and will require consultation with various stakeholder across the organisation.

At VMCH the ITSS team has a strong commitment to improving service delivery. You will contribute to this goal by Identifying service improvements managing problem tickets and assisting with reporting through automation competence building and knowledge sharing.

About you

You understand the need for urgency in the resolution of ICT problems/issues and have the enthusiasm and desire to provide top level support.

Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will come in handy as you troubleshoot issues provide information and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.

Youre a strong team player who can also work autonomously and use initiative to make independent decisions to resolve technical problems.

Last but not least you have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

To be successful youll need the following:

• Proficiency with Active Directory Exchange and Exchange Online
• Experience with Microsofts Cloud offerings M365 Azure and InTune as well as proficiency in all Windows operating systems
• The ability to troubleshoot WAN LAN and Wi-Fi issues and experience managing networked printers

...and it would be great if you had experience with:

• The healthcare industry where you gained exposure to associated IT applications such as Carelink Medmobile and Nurse call/RTM
• Phone systems such as 3CX
• Cyber security tools and practices such as KnowBe4 Sentinel 1 and Mimecast
