ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
Vivid Travel originally Harvey World Travel Busselton has been a trusted name in the travel industry since 2007. The business transitioned to Vivid Travel in 2014 and relocated to Dunsborough in 2020. As a retail travel agency and an agent for TransWA Vivid Travel offers comprehensive travel services to clients.
An exciting opportunity is available for a trainee to join the team. This role will provide valuable hands-on experience in the travel industry supporting customers and trade professionals with bookings payments and inquiries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answering phone calls and taking messages
- Assisting customers in-store with inquiries and bookings
- Liaising with trade professionals
- Processing payments
- Managing bookings for flights hotels buses transfers tours and cruises
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The successful applicant will possess:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work independently
- Proficiency in maintaining client databases and processing paperwork
- A commitment to compliance with relevant regulations and laws
- Strong computer and keyboard skills
- Professional office presentation and bookkeeping skills
- A passion for the retail travel industry
