You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn Community Inclusion Program (CIP) provides tenancy support services to Residents (companions) living in Social and Community Housing in River and George Streets Oaks Estate. The program also links rough sleepers to supports and services to provide a pathway out of homelessness.
Reporting to the Manager the Coordinator of the Community Inclusion Program will lead a small team of Case Managers and Volunteers to provide frontline service and case management to our Companions and assist the Oaks Estate community to develop and drive innovative ways to increase community participation. The CIP team will actively build individuals capacity to live ordinary and self-determined lives in a safe and supportive community. This role operates in our offices at Oaks Estate ACT. This is a fixed term full-time position until 30th June 2026.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have a high-level understanding of challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness disadvantage and living with psychosocial disabilities.
You will have proven experience in a management role supporting people with complex needs. You will have strong leadership and communication skills along with a proactive collaborative mindset demonstrated resilience and the capacity to adapt to change in challenging environments.
