We are immediately hiring a Travel Technician Power or HVAC - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What youll do:
You will be part of an elite technician team that will work on a wide range of projects from large events to assisting Utilities customers or being part of a turnaround team in a refinery.
Install commission service and repair Aggreko generators diesel engines electrical distribution equipment HVAC equipment and/or OFA systems.
Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Major Projects and in service centers. Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
Read and comprehend electrical schematics wiring diagrams and service manuals.
Maintain thorough knowledge of practice and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment.
Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance
Were experts which means youll have the following skills and experience:
High school diploma/GED
4-10 years experience working on power generators commercial HVAC equipment and/or oil free air (OFA) compressors performing inspections maintenance and repairs Experience performance testing generators HVAC and oil free air equipment
Electrical Generating System Association technician or other various certifications are a plus but not required.
Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meters amp meters and Hygrometers
Based on the customer requirements you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card valid drivers license
Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 75 lbs.
