Essential Functions
Provide administrative support to the Dean for Native Programs and Experiential Learning facilitating communication with strategic partners manage appointments and calendar and provide initial in-take from students faculty staff and external contacts such as staff of Tribal governments. Provide support for Native Programs and Experiential Learning activities including processing financial and logistical documents booking rooms and creating and monitoring vendor contracts. Working collaboratively with stakeholder groups and individuals take a lead role in creating Native Programs and Experiential Learning events and activities facilitate logistics publicize and market events and provide day of support as needed. Process business travel and expense forms and make travel arrangements for the Dean and Tribal Liaison. Process reimbursements and other requests and a variety of forms such as personnel documents purchase requisitions travel authorities etc. Identify and resolve expense allocation and fiscal issues including coordination with Academic Budget and Business Services staff as needed. Provide budget tracking and maintenance including procurement card reconciling and budget reports across many areas within Native Programs and Experiential Learning. Support grant activities including reporting tracking spending monitoring deadlines and drafting and proofreading narratives. Create documents such as promotional materials office forms and procedures and desk manual content. Perform a variety of clerical and administrative support tasks such as taking notes and recording information including event attendance data collection etc. Provide support for the Native Cases project and Tribal Training including coordinating updates evaluating cases and curriculum and identifying experts to provide expert assistance. Act as SharePoint point of contact and provide support to others using SharePoint and Microsoft 365 applications. Perform other duties as assigned.
