Job Description

Location: Harrisburg PA
Position Type: Hybrid
Hybrid Schedule: 2 days onsite per week
Long-Term Contract: 1 year

The ServiceNow Administrator serves as a key liaison between stakeholders to identify business needs analyze processes and recommend effective solutions that support organizational goals. This role is responsible for administering the ITSM platform collaborating with process owners supporting testing activities and providing technical guidance to ensure optimal system performance.

Required Skills:
  • 4 years of experience with ITSM and at least one additional ServiceNow module (e.g. ITOM HRSD SPM Source2Pay).

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

  • Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).

  • Exposure to ServiceNow App Engine and Flow Designer.

  • Understanding of CMDB and Discovery.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.

  • ITIL V4 Foundation Certification.

Duties:
  • Define and document customer business functions and processes.

  • Collaborate with Process Owners and Managers to identify define and document business needs objectives current procedures issues input/output requirements and system access levels.

  • Administer the ITSM platform to ensure alignment with organizational requirements.

  • Participate in system integration testing user acceptance testing (UAT) and testing of new functionality.

  • Provide technical assistance through training mentoring and coaching of professional and technical staff.

  • Escalate issues to management as needed.

  • Configure and maintain ITOM (IT Operations Management) HAM (Hardware Asset Management) and SAM (Software Asset Management) modules in ServiceNow.

  • Perform system administration tasks such as user management access control and workflow automation.

  • Support system upgrades patch management and performance tuning.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system errors and technical issues.

  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and organizational governance policies.
