Position: Customer Service Team Shift Lead

Were a 25-person strong entertainment hub looking for a dedicated Customer Service Team Shift Lead to guide our front-of-house operations lead events and keep the fun flowing!
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Customer Service Team Shift Lead youll be the go-to person for all things front deskbowling leagues birthday parties and smiling faces. Youll oversee daily shift operations coach and support the team and help us build a welcoming and high-performing culture.
This is a key leadership role with big responsibilitiesand big rewards for the right person.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Lead daily front-of-house (FOH) operations and ensure excellent guest experiences
- Be the point person for bowling leagues tournaments and birthday parties
- Recruit train and motivate a top-notch customer service team
- Monitor inventory and maintain house bowling equipment (lockers balls shoes etc.)
- Schedule and supervise staff breaks to comply with California labor laws
- Open and close the center balance tills and make bank deposits as needed
- Create and promote new event ideas (e.g. youth leagues homeschool groups ADA leagues)
- Ensure proper communication with other department heads
- Address safety and security concerns and uphold a harassment-free workplace
- Coach staff on booking and managing group events and birthday parties
- Maintain clean and safe conditions and enforce center policies fairly and consistently
REQUIREMENTS
- 21 years or older
- Experience in a leadership or management role (preferred)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong time management multitasking and decision-making abilities
- Able to lead in a high-energy sometimes high-stress environment
- Comfortable working around common food allergens chemicals and kitchen equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Hot and cold environments (ranging from 10F to 100F)
- Frequent bending lifting kneeling walking and shifting
- Active on-your-feet role in a busy entertainment and food service setting
