JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the aerospace industry particularly with fasteners and possess the skills necessary to accurately assess costs and requirements. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet customer specifications while maintaining competitive pricing.
REPORTING TO
General Manager
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Review and analyze customer requests blueprints and specifications to determine material labor and manufacturing requirements.
- Prepare detailed estimates quotes and proposals for customer projects ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Interface with customers to clarify requirements address questions and provide updates on project status.
- Collaborate with cross-functional personnel to ensure alignment and meet customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of customer needs and preferences to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities for cost savings in the estimation process.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint) for data analysis reporting and presentations.
- Work with ERP system Visual to manage inventory levels track orders and streamline processes.
- Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of experience estimating in the aerospace industry specifically working with fasteners.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word etc.).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred in a related field (e.g. Engineering Business).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Proficient in negotiations and conflict resolution; able to resolve issues in a respectful and professional manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Typical office environment with all amenities necessary to preform work duties.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATION
- Must meet ITAR compliance standards as such this role requires us to employee Permanent Residents or US Citizen only.
