Job Advertisement: Full-Time Cook at Trinity Ridge
Join Our Culinary Team!
Are you an experienced cook passionate about preparing nutritious and delicious meals in a meaningful environment Trinity Ridge is looking for a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Cook to join our team and contribute to the health and happiness of our residents.
Position Details:
- Shift: First Shift (6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Every other weekend every other holiday
- Salary: $15 per hour (Shift differential available)
- Benefits: Available
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience in a food service establishment
- Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience in healthcare food service
- ServSafe certification or equivalent (preferred not required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare regular and therapeutic diet meals according to planned menus
- Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders
- Serve meals with attention to dietary needs and portion control
- Assist in planning and preparing special meals
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
- Perform inventory checks and report supply needs
- Ensure compliance with food safety principles
Working Conditions:
- Stand and walk intermittently throughout the working day
- Perform physical activities such as reaching stooping bending lifting and carrying
- Lift and/or carry 50 to 75 pounds
- Work with cleaning agents and withstand exposure to varying temperatures and humidity
- Maintain personal hygiene standards as per Food Service Employee requirements
