Job Description

Remote Business Development Representative

Full-Time Remote Political Consulting Client


About the Role

Our client a fast-growing political consulting firm is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to lead outreach efforts for their clients in the Democratic political and nonprofit space. This is a remote full-time role focused on cold calling email outreach and relationship-building with key stakeholders across campaigns PACs unions progressive nonprofits and media agencies.


Mission & Impact

This role is crucial for driving outreach and securing qualified meetings that generate revenue and results for clients. Your efforts will directly support political campaigns advocacy initiatives and progressive causes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound cold calling and email outreach on behalf of clients

  • Book qualified meetings with decision-makers in:

    • Democratic campaigns

    • PACs

    • Labor organizations

    • Advocacy groups

    • Progressive nonprofits

    • Agencies working in paid media and advertising

  • Utilize curated lead lists and execute multi-channel outreach

  • Provide regular metrics on outreach performance and meeting conversions

  • Follow up on leads and nurture prospective relationships

  • Collaborate with the internal business development team to refine strategies and optimize results

  • Support the client s founder and business partner with sales coordination as needed


Must-Have Qualifications

  • 1 3 years of experience in business development sales or outbound prospecting roles

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to build rapport quickly with new contacts

  • Highly self-motivated and organized; comfortable working remotely

  • Proven ability to meet outreach goals and book qualified meetings


Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with the Democratic political ecosystem or nonprofit fundraising landscape

  • Experience with CRMs and outreach tools for tracking engagement

  • Previous work in the media advocacy or political consulting space
