Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead DevOps strategy automation and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure CI/CD pipelines Docker Kubernetes and Terraform with a passion for optimizing cloud-based environments and streamlining engineering workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines GitHub Actions Jenkins)
Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
Oversee containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
Deploy and maintain Java-based applications in production
Implement monitoring logging and alerting tools
Collaborate with development QA and security teams
Automate routine tasks to enhance productivity
Optimize cloud usage and reduce infrastructure costs
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards
Evaluate and integrate DevOps tools to improve delivery and reliability
Required Skills
Azure (must-have); AWS or GCP (nice-to-have)
Proficient with Git Git-based workflows and command-line tools
Scripting experience in Bash and PowerShell; YAML proficiency
Programming in Python JavaScript/TypeScript or C#
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Hands-on with Terraform; experience with Ansible Chef or Puppet
CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Nice-to-Have Skills
Basic DBA/database administration
Familiarity with Azure Boards Jira or GitLab Issues
Experience with Linux environments
Cloud cost optimization and performance tuning

Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field(or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
7 years of total IT experience with significant DevOps exposure
Demonstrated leadership in DevOps strategy and implementation
Education
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (required) Master s degree in a relevant field (preferred, but not mandatory) Relevant certifications in Java, Spring, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or DevOps tools are a plus
