Job Description
Longbridge Financial (LBF) is adding to our team a Contract Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. This Contract role will play an integral part of our existing team with the potential opportunity to joining LBF on a full-time basis.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Gathering analyzing and presenting data in a meaningful way that is utilized to make critical business decisions.
- Works closely with stakeholders to define business requirements and develop Tableau reports that support organizational goals.
- Analyze business data to identify trends and insights to define reporting requirements.
- Developing maintaining and managing advanced reporting analytics dashboards and other BI solutions for scalability manageability extensibility performance and re-use.
- Performing and documenting data analysis data validation and data mapping/design.
- Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Mathematics Engineering required
- 5 years of experience as a dedicated Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst required
- Advanced Tableau architecture/development skills required
- High-level competency in Excel (macros pivot tables etc.)
- Previous experience with MS PowerBI is a plus
- Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbook
- Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations
- Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications
- Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions
- A solid understanding of SQL relational database management system data modeling and normalization
- Strong communication skills attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work with business owners in identifying reporting and dashboard requirements
- Exemplary oral and written communications skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical community
