Job Description
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Store Warehouse/Purchasing Team Member position. The Industrial Store Warehouse/Purchasing Team Member is responsible for accomplishing all shipping and receiving on a daily basis and to maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepares all items to be shipped on a daily basis
- Notifies appropriate parties of shipments received
- Places all items received for stock into their appropriate locations on a daily basis
- Monitor and maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels and places orders when necessary
- Coordinate cycle counts and rental inventory in branch location
- Educates staff on inventory accuracy and reduction of human errors
- Maintains the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashion
- Properly receives all items shipped to the company on a daily basis
- Adhere to all established procedures policies and safety rules
- Daily deliveries and hotshots to customer sites.
- Perform other tasks as assigned or needed
Qualifications :
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications applicable to the position
- Good organizational communication and customer service skills
- Basic mathematics skills
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis
- Valid Drivers License
