Job Description
GREATER NEW BEDFORD TECHNICAL INSTITUTE - ADULT EDUCATION
HIRING FOR FALL SEPTEMBER 2025
Welding Instructor for the Technical Institute (AdultEducation)
Traditional 8-wek programs: Fall Winter and Spring
- 1-2 nights/week
- 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Fall semester; September - November
- Winter semester; January - March
- Spring semester; March - May
- Holidays and school vacations observed
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a welder/fabricator
- Experience in Mig Tig Arc and Gas welding
- Competent in operating manual and CNC plasma cutting shears bandsaws and other welding and metal fabrication equipment
- Organized and able to maintain student records attendance and hours
- Ability to work with a diverse population of students
- Teaching experience preferred
