Location

Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center(OKC Thunder) the Oklahoma Convention Center and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzers Modern Diner) an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House) specialty restaurant (Bobs Steak & Chop House) coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Additionally guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) complete with a fire pit outdoor lawn and cabanas. The hotel offers 76000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20000 square foot ballroom 10000 square foot ballroom and a 4200 square foot outdoor pre-function space that overlooks the park.

Job Description

Omni Oklahoma City Hotelis seeking a passionate Housekeeping Turndown Attendant to join the opening team of this brand new upscale hotel. This team member is responsible for making lasting impressions on our guests by ensuring the guests room is clean attractive and welcoming at all times. Our Turndown Attendants provide extra touches to our guests rooms suitable for our discriminating guests: he or she will offer ice and other amenities such as extra towels and pillows turn-down the bed freshen-up/clean the room turn on the television and music to a soothing and relaxing channel draw the curtains close and more.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all the functions of a Room Attendant and Houseperson as needed and warmly greet all of our guests.
  • Offer assistance and information to our guests.
  • Clean guest rooms according to Omnis standards for Room Attendants.
  • Provide water and ice to guests.
  • Offer guests towels pillows and other services/amenities.
  • Change linens turn-down bed.

Qualifications

  • Manual labor experience required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively (must be able to answer basic questions about services and amenities give directions to guests).
  • Housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand bend and do repetitive movements for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 20-25 pounds intermittently and occasionally 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull housekeeping supply cart.
  • Must be able to work evening shift and holidays/weekends.
  • Must live within 50 miles of hotel.
