DescriptionThe role of theGlobal Client Executive(GCE) is to create a sustainable Chubb-Client relationship resulting in strong account retention and business growth opportunities. This is accomplished through enhanced interaction with risk managers and their brokers effective client service performance a formal stewardship and account planning process actively engaging Chubb internal leadership and knowing the Chubb business plan and Client Executives require an attitude of service andaccountability and always working to improve each clients interaction and experience with Chubb.
Specific objectives related to the role:
- Client Plan: Meet with each assigned client and broker to discuss current Chubb relationship and clients Risk Management Goals. The client plan should be reviewed and updated annually. The Client Plan will provide insight to share with internal client team on current relationship and potential expansion opportunities.
- Stewardship: Lead the Stewardship process for clients brokers and the entire Chubb account team. Work closely with each client to customize the stewardship meeting/process to fit their needs and goals. Stewardship meetings should be held annually with each client and or period account/stewardship updates should occur throughout the year.
- Client Roster: A comprehensive list of each clients expanded Chubb team. Include UW/UW Managers Claims ESIS Regional Management and Chubb Global Services. Each account roster List is shared internally as well as externally with clients.
- Institutionalize Relationship: Provide all assigned clients with access to Chubb senior management and Chubb product line leadership while promoting the Chubb brand identity and recognition within the global insurance market.
- Drive Chubb Business Plan: Understand each product line and regional business plans and translate into action for assigned clients. This includes all existing business as well a targeted lines to ensure the entire relationship is considered in the decision making process.
- Drive Overall Client Satisfaction: Manage overall service delivery and assigned tasks for each client to insure we are meeting their expectations and creating loyalty. Demonstrate appropriate levels of accountability and authority when carrying out tasks and elevate necessary issues to senior management.
- Client Specific P&L Statements: Maintain and update annually client specific Profit & Loss exhibits to fully understand the historical and current relationship share with Chubb senior management as needed in assisting with key account level decisions.
Additional Tactical Details:
- Account Retention GCE accounts should average 2 to 3 points above Chubb Major Accounts average (95%). Retention measured by GWP and policy count (e.g. line of business). Manage distribution partners to insure alignment with this metric and in support of product line underwriting profitability.
- Manager Disruptions Identify GCE succession plans for each account
- Showcase Chubb Differentiators include in client plan how you will utilize Chubb differentiators (Worldview Predictive Modeling/4D Claims)
- C-Suite Visibility To help institutionalize the relationship ensure Chubb has recognition in the client C-suite. Facilitate connections between Chubb and Client Senior Management
- Enhance GCE Communication develop maintain and disseminate client information regularly to all Chubb team members to enhance communication and educate team members on relationship and client activity. This will include; client plans stewardship reports and follow up account roster as well as all open and pending items/tasks.
- COG/GCE coordination US GCEs utilize Chubb Overseas General counterparts where possible to assist in multinational clients (enhance Chubb presence with client increases efficiency reduces travel)
- New Business / Chubb Account Enhancement Through marketplace awareness personal and distribution relationships and as assigned by regional management identify and develop new global clients with the desire to expand the Chubb relationship.
Qualifications- Minimum 10 years working with risk managers and risk management accounts and their brokers.
- Prior experience working at Chubb and/or in the insurance industry with proven experience in managing relationships and accounts required.
- Demonstrated analytical strategic planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication influence and negotiation skills with the ability to exercise positive influence over formal and informal organizations and management at all levels.
- Proven strategic planning ability as evidenced by successful development and implementation of business and marketing plans.
- Proven experience in managing cross functional teams
