Pay Scale: Administrative - Instruction 2
Primary Purpose:
Provide assistance for students and their families to identify and remove barriers in school readiness success and attendance. Work with families of at-risk students in danger of not meeting grade level expectations. Collaborate with campus team and district departments to remove barriers to student success particularly for student identified as at-risk.
Qualification Guidelines:
Education/Certifications:
Bachelors degree in education social work or a related field
Valid Texas teaching certification (preferred)
Experience:
Experience working in education social service or family support settings
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong communication (verbal and written) interpersonal and organizational skills
Knowledge of community resources and support services
Ability to facilitate Student Success Teams
Knowledge of student attendance requirements
Ability to collect and analyze data for program evaluation and improvement
Bilingual (preferred)
