Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:Extended School Year (ESY) is a Special Education Program for students with disabilities whose IEP team has determined that in order to minimize substantial regression and reduce substantial recoupment times the students require a longer year. Services are based on individual needs to address IEP goals and RESPONSIBILITIES:Under the guidance of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provide direct speech and language services for individual students and specialized small groups as indicated on their the guidance of a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provide small group instruction in social knowledge of assistive technology and augmentative student progress to SLP and other school effective instruction and fulfill all professional responsibilitiesWillingness to be trained in and use positive behavior support any other duty or assignments as directed by the Director of Special Education/ESY Coordinator
