Job Title: Financial Reporting Accountant
Location: Cambridge
Employment Type: Full-time FTC 12 months
The job
A financial reporting accountant is required to assist in preparing a consolidation for the AVEVA Group. This will include a manual consolidation for the current year and working with the finance systems team IT and local finance teams to build automated processes going forward.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordination of reporting
- Manual consolidation of data
- Mapping and reconciliation of data between financial reporting systems
- Calculation of consolidation and GAAP adjustments
- Co-ordination and population of financial statements disclosures
- Supporting the audit process
Skills & Qualifications
Ideal skills
- Experience in accounting
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data
- Adept at building relationships quickly
- Preference for fast moving environments
Desired skills
- Experience in consolidation and US GAAP desirable but not essential
- Professional qualification in accounting - ACA ACCACIMA
- Organised and able to balance conflicting priorities
- Capable of managing time and meeting deadlines
- Collaborative with good communications skills
- High attention to detail
- Confident motivated self-starter
