The BlackRock Family Office and Foundations group in EMEA is one of the fastest-growing client segments across BlackRock. The Family Office teams coverage model includes Single and Multi-Family Offices of all sizes across EMEA. In Europe BlackRock manages close to $39bn on behalf of these clients with around 20% of which is in French Speaking Europe.
Client holdings are invested broadly across asset classes with a focus on ETFs active and alternatives products. The business offers a unique platform and value-added proposition to these discrete market segments through:

About this Role
We are looking for an experienced commercial professional to be a Senior Relationship Manager within the BlackRocks Family Office business in France Belgium and Luxembourg. This is an established multi-billion AUM business with a strong track record as illustrated by the large range of clients that we have in region and the fact that notwithstanding its existing scale it is experiencing double digit growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing relationships as well as developing new business with Single Family Offices Multi Family Offices Private Foundations and Family Owned businesses across FraBeLux. The individual is expected to be the ambassador of BlackRocks entire suite of services representing the entire range of BlackRocks investment capabilities including traditional long-only strategies (active and index) alternative investments and OCIO solutions and to play a key role in contributing to the financial results of this business.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy
Design and implement an ambitious sales strategy for clients and prospects in the region
Define and own success metrics e.g. diversification of book share of wallet market share etc.
Ensure a disciplined approach to pipeline usage client segmentation and client prioritization to optimize the firms commercial success
Business Development:
Develop long-term relationships with large clients within the target market ultimately delivering upon financial objectives in terms of assets net new revenue new mandates and product diversification
Proactively manage existing relationships; identify and defend at-risk business
Identify and pursue new investment opportunities through consultative dialogues with investors
Work collaboratively with partners across BlackRock globally including specialist BlackRock investment groups other sales teams and client servicing teams to meet clients needs and objectives
Exploit the full breadth of the firms expertise and strategies to bring innovative and timely ideas and solutions to clients
Develop product fluency across the full range of BlackRocks investment options - including a broad range of ETF and index offerings alternative strategies and active equity fixed income and multi-asset funds
Thought leadership
Attend relevant internal and external events to further develop the profile of the business in FraBeLux
Identify opportunities for roadshows to accelerate product adoption by client segment
Develop thought leadership to help drive growth working with marketing and product partners in particular
Key qualifications
Ideally we are looking for an experienced relationship manager or salesperson with proven business success covering institutionally sized Family Offices in FraBeLux. The individual should be able to talk about markets and have a relatively broad whole portfolio conversation with clients.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills/qualities:
Strategic business-builder with a deep understanding of client segmentation and prioritisation and an ability to design implementable client plans;
In-depth knowledge across different asset classes and products and a high level of comfort in communicating this information to clients prospects and their advisors; Ability to talk about markets and have a relatively broad whole portfolio conversation with clients
Self-starter with a systematic structured and professional sales approach
Strong leadership skills; team player who builds an inclusive environment where a wide diversity of insights and expertise contribute to business results
Ability to drive innovation and incubation of new ideas

Our hybrid work model
