Job Description

Reports to: Technology Services Manager

Salary: Position hourly rate at District Support Min Wage ($16.66)

Dates: June 23rd - August 15th (Tues-Thurs)

Hours: 4 hours per day 3 days a week. Hours 8:00a - 12:00p

Position Summary:

The Student CTE Computer Support Tech Intern will assist the technology department staff primarily in CTE summer technology projects as well as assist in general IT work. Students will work alongside a Senior Tech to ensure technology is ready for the upcoming school year. This work will include but is not limited to:

  • Tear down and set up of equipment
  • Inventory management of devices
  • Cord and accessory management
  • Computer repair
  • Work at the Service Center or on location at District School sites

Qualifications:

  • 16-18 years old
  • Current or graduating Marysville School District student
  • Dates: June 26th- August 15th (Tues-Thurs) 4 hours per day 3 days a week.
  • Hours 8:00a- 12:00p
  • Reliable transport to Service Center or assigned school site
  • Interest in exploring a career in Technology Repair Service and/or Maintenance
