Job Description

About the Job Opportunity

We are looking for a legal intern for a minimum period of 1 to 3 months. The work will involve research and drafting pertaining to real estate transactions and cases and other allied corporate laws. We are open to remote working but preference will be given to physical/in-person work from our head office in Gurgaon.

It will include the following KRAs

Preparation of research notes: The team is confronted with complex legal problems which will require collation of relevant documents researching positions of laws and drafting notes. Read & update laws/byelaws/rules & regulation applicable on housing (Conversion rules Building bye laws Township policy RERA Rules Labour cess act Environmental clearance CTE CTO IBC SARFAESI etc.)

Briefing senior High Court and Supreme Court counsels: The team is often required to consult/ obtain an opinion from senior/external legal counsels so the role will involve preparation of briefs/documents/list of dates/case for opinions for the said counsels.

Key Skills Needed

  1. Should have pursued/pursuing a BA LLB or an equivalent course (whether 5 years or 3 years) from a reputed university.
  2. Good drafting and research skills and an ability to work hard.

Stipend

  1. Upto 15000 per month; negotiable based on competence
  2. A detailed and personalised letter of recommendation highlighting actual contribution legal skills work ethic etc. will be provided at the end of the internship period.
