About the Role
You will work closely with the Operations Manager of Planned Surgery the Deputy Elective Surgery Manager and the rest of the Planned Surgery team to manage and coordinate the care of patients on the Planned Surgery Waiting List ensuring they are treated in the most appropriate location.
Key deliverables in this role is ensuring that within the team we treat patients within their clinically indicated timeframe and facilitate timely access to care for our patients.
Classifications for this position will range from YU11 ($102278.80 per annum) pro rata
num).
Your Contribution
Bachelor of Nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia through AHPRA
Awareness of the Planned Surgery Access Policy and the Department of Health requirements.
At least 3 years postgraduate acute surgical nursing experience

About Planned Surgery at St Vincents on the Park
The Planned Surgery Management Team (PSMT) coordinates and case manages patients that are on the St Vincents Hospital elective surgery waiting list in accordance with the planned surgery waiting list policy and the Department of Health Planned Surgery Access Policy. The PSMT is responsible for the case management of all patients across the surgical specialties at SVHM.
