About The Clean Slate Initiative

Founded in 2019 The Clean Slate Initiative (CSI) is working across the country and in Congress to pass and implement laws that automate record sealing for people with eligible records who have completed their sentence and remained crime-free and to expand who is eligible for sealing.

CSIs vision is that people will no longer be defined by their records and will have the opportunity to contribute to their community have a fair opportunity to work get an education and achieve their full potential. To date twelve states have passed Clean Slate laws impacting more than 15 million people. CSI works with bipartisan leaders and organizations and offers our expertise on what works: intelligent policy design an eye toward implementation and campaign strategies that center lived experience. Along the way we work to redefine the narrative around people with records cutting through the bias and stigma to reorient the legal system to live up to the ideals of second chances. About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Operations and Systems Manager (Sr OSM) the Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organizations day-to-day operational efficiency. This position will be based in Orlando FL and works closely with the Sr OSM. This role will ensure that all technology tools are thoughtfully scoped implemented and aligned with team workflows. This role will lead technology and operations onboarding and offboarding processes for employees perform data entry and quality assurance for contact and information management systems and coordinate logistics and support for CSIs virtual and physical office operations.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Hardware and Software Systems (40%)

  • Manage review and respond to staff requests for new software or technology tools including conducting due diligence obtaining cost estimates and securing budget approval.

  • Track manage and apply for nonprofit discounts for more than 15 software agreements.

  • Administer user access and permissions across all software systems including shared drives Slack Channels Asana projects and departmental vaults.

  • Set-up new employee technology packages including hardware software and accounts provisioning.

  • Respond to and triage IT help requests for systems that are not managed by our external IT contractor

  • Track and maintain inventory of staff hardware in collaboration with the Finance Team to meet reporting requirements.

  • Research and evaluate new system features: assessing value and risks of features and developing standardized roll out procedures.

Office Management (15%)

  • Manage the Orlando offices supply inventory including fulfilling staff requests for remote materials.

  • Oversee office equipment maintenance needs and cleanliness standards in coordination with building management.

  • Ensure all building safety protocols are in place such as emergency evacuation plans and office closure procedures.

  • On an as needed-basis provide logistical support for in-office meetings including guest access supplies catering and room setup.

  • Identify and implement office improvement opportunities in collaboration with the COO.

Knowledge Management (15%)

  • Serve as the primary steward of the organizations intranet platform.

  • Facilitate a standing workgroup to ensure regular intranet content update.

  • Identify and curate useful intranet content by collaborating across teams.

  • Provide training and ongoing support to staff on intranet usage.

  • Conduct regular quality assurance and performance assessments of the intranet.

General Operations Duties as needed (30%)

  • Manage and Track Certificate of Insurance (COI) Requests.

  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures and internal policies.

  • Support the Senior Systems and Operations Manager and Departments in data entry conducting quality assurance uploading and routine data clean up in the Salesforce system.

  • Perform routine maintenance and quality control to ensure accurate up-to-date Salesforce data.

  • Support the Sr OSM and COO in delivering quarterly all staff meetings.

  • Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by Sr OSM or COO.

  • Experienced with system administration workflow automation or process analysis.

  • Proficient in Salesforce Asana Slack Google Workspace and/or other operational systems.

  • You have experience managing the day to day operations of an office front desk or other physical space.

  • You possess excellent communication training skills and strong project management skills.

  • Experienced as a directly impacted person who has a record or with a family member who has a record is valued.

Compensation and Location
Comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid health dental and vision insurance a 4% employer match and 2% employer paid contribution towards 401k retirement pre-tax transportation benefits and paid holidays vacation sick and casual time off.

The Clean Slate Initiative is committed to transparent and fair compensation. The hiring range for this position is an annual salary range of $56000 - $60000 per year. The nal salary within this range will be determined based on qualifications and relevant experience. Once an offer is made we do not negotiate the compensation package.

This is a full-time position and is considered exempt for overtime purposes. This is an in-person position and will be reporting to our Orlando office. You will need to:

  • Currently reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the United States

  • Work collaboratively with a team in various time zones

  • Be close to a major airport with the ability to travel approximately 10%

  • Attend required onsite planning meetings at least 2 times a year in various locations

  • Attend 1 all staff learning trip and our annual convening each year
