Job Description
Description:
Provide small group instruction in reading or math. Manage group data and attendance.
Requirements:
Current Oregon teaching license valid for K-8th grades. Knowledge of small group instruction and research based intervention.
Qualifications Desired:
Preference given to bilingual candidates. Science of Reading training LTRS training preferred Reading endorsement preferred but not required.
Classification/Location:
Licensed temporary summer position at Edwards Elementary School.
Hours/Days:
80 hrs total student contact Monday Thursday July 7 2025 through August 1 2025.EMPLOYMENT CONTINGENT ON ENROLLMENT AND GRANT FUNDING
Salary:
Per diem paid by timesheet in accordance with 2024-25 Salary Schedule. Newberg School Districtpays 6% PERScontribution provides a generous insurance cap long-term disability and life insurance. Optional Life AD&D insurance Short Term Disability Tax Shelter Annuities Section 125 health and dependent care accounts Tuition Reimbursement Professional Development and Employee Assistance Program through Reliant Behavioral Health available to all staff.
