Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our growing team in a full-time onsite role. This position will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Aerospace industry experience is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with HRIS systems be proficient in Microsoft Office-especially Excel-and bring 4 to 5 years of HR generalist experience to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Functions:
Recruitment and Onboarding -
Drafting job descriptions and posting job ads. Screening resumes and coordinating interviews
Conducting background checks and reference checks
Managing offer letters and employment contracts
Facilitating new employee orientation and onboarding processes
Employee Relations-
Addressing employee inquiries and grievances
Supporting conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
Promoting a positive work environment
Assisting with performance management processes and documentation.
HR Administration-
Maintaining employee records (physical and digital)
Managing HR databases and HRIS systems
Preparing HR reports for management (e.g. turnover absenteeism)
Benefits and Compensation-
Coordinating employee benefits enrollment and administration Assisting with payroll processing and salary changes
Responding to questions regarding health insurance leave policies etc.
Ensuring compliance with compensation policies and legal standards
Compliance and Policy Implementation-
Ensuring HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies
Assisting with audits and internal investigations
Keeping policies updated in accordance with legislation (e.g. FMLA FLSA EEO)
Training and Development -
Coordinating employee training programs and workshops
Assisting in identifying skills gaps and development needs
Supporting career development initiatives
Performance Management-
Supporting annual performance review cycles Assisting with goal setting KPIs and feedback processes Helping managers handle underperformance or development planning
Physical Requirements / Work Environments:
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
To conform to US Government space technology export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a US Citizen lawful permanent resident of the U.S. protected individual as defined by U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
