Administrative Coordinator Courtroom Services REPORTS TO:Supervisor Municipal Criminal Courtroom Services EMPLOYMENT STATUS:Full Time FLSA STATUS:Non-exempt CIVIL SERVICE:Unclassified LOCATION:1000 Main Street Cincinnati Ohio 45202 WORK HOURS:35 hours per week; Mon- Fri: 8:00 am- 4:00 pm TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:None PAY RATE:$24.39 per hour SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:None JOB OVERVIEW: Under supervision provides exceptional customer service and record keeping for individuals who have business in Hamilton County Municipal Court. Manage the case docket and oversee day-to-day work operations in a Municipal Civil courtroom. Enter and update data into the Case Management System for Municipal Civil. Scan all court documents into the Case Management System. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Clerical Services (30%) - Keeping an accurate record of the actions in court each day
- Preparing the Judges/Magistrates dockets
- Review and analyze the information presented in judicial entries complaints and affidavits.
- Work closely with courtroom staff and judges/magistrates to accurately and efficiently process cases during court proceedings.
- Filing case file jackets and paperwork
Data Entry (30%) - Enter all information from judicial entries and other court documents into the Case Management System
- Verifies information provided and ensures accurate completion
- Prepares the civil docket for designated courtroom
Customer Service (30%) - Provide exceptional customer service to the public and attorneys in the courtroom.
- Process paperwork for service provided.
- Verify information provided and ensure timely accurate and consistent service to the customer.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Respond to customer inquiries: determine the nature of requests retrieve information from the system or hard-copy files and provide assistance directly or by referring the customer to the appropriate party.
Scanning (10%) - Scans judicial entries and all other court documents into the Case Management System

QUALIFICATIONS: - High school diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS: - This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers and filing cabinets. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is primarily a sedentary job and the employee will sit 75% of their workday. The employee is expected to use a computer keyboard for extended periods of time. The employee is expected to use a computer keyboard for extended periods of time and lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
