Responsibilities
- Supporting transitions with low complexity returns and low to medium sized clients with the support of more experienced client manager as needed
- Communicating with the client and other KPMG offices and internal teams (queries calls emails meetings)
- Attending/preparing for governance meetings
- Onboarding of new registrations/takeover (internal process roll-out as well) handling scope extensions
- Ensuring a quality delivery towards the client
- Escalating client or delivery issues to cluster management Client Manager or Senior Client Manager and/or engagement partner
- Identifying and delivering ad hoc projects (e.g. automation of work)
- Identifying pull through opportunities and increasing penetration of KGSH services for clients
- Effectively working together with delivery and other teams of KGSH member of Client Management team
- Acting as engagement manager on engagement codes (where feasible and working independently)reviewing/approving incoming/outgoing invoices update WIP ensuring that all work is (e.g. tax audit tech developments) is invoiced under the guidance of Client Manager or Senior Client Manager
- Monitoring financial performance of client engagements with Senior Manager team leader as control point
- Ensuring compliance with internal risk management procedures (i.e. reviewing and ensuring that proper SAN/MFE/contracts etc. are in place)
- Meeting financial targets set
- Final quality review of returns prepared by country teams after go live in hyper-care period
Requirements
- University or college degree
- Knowledge and understanding of following KGSH/Core IDT processes
- Solid VAT knowledge
- Proven ability to help improve the compliance process for client(s)
- Any leadership experience as a country leader or project leader is an advantage
- VAT compliance experience ideally for more jurisdictions
- Demonstrated experience managing large complex clients and oversseing end-to-end process from a client management perspective
- English fluent intermediate (speaking and writing)
