hands-on approach Raxio addresses the latent demand for critical data centre infrastructure that is driving digital transformation

across the Region. Raxio made its first investments in Uganda and Ethiopia by establishing and two operational state-of-the-art

metro-edge facilities in Uganda and Ethiopia and similar facilities under construction in DRC C te d Ivoire Mozambique Tanzania

and Angola due for completion during 2024. Raxio has further investments planned across Africa as it continues to expand its

footprint and presence in the continent. Raxio currently counts on about 75 professionals across different offices located in

Amsterdam Dubai Nairobi Kampala Addis Ababa Maputo Abidjan and Kinshasa to help realise its mission.

Job Role/ Purpose

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Sales Executive to drive the sales of our Data Centre colocation services to new customers. This role demands a professional with exceptional communication skills at the C-level coupled with strong commercial acumen. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base by fostering relationships with key decision-makers and understanding their unique business

challenges.

Reports to General Manager

Works Closely with GM Local Sales & Technical teams





Job Responsibility

1. Executive-level Engagement:

Develop and maintain relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.

Effectively communicate the value proposition of our Data Centre colocation services

to align with clients business objectives.

2. Strategic Business Development:

Identify and target new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and

market analysis.

Leverage commercial acumen to understand clients financial objectives and propose

solutions that deliver measurable value.

3. Solution Consultation:

Conduct in-depth needs assessments to understand clients technical and business

requirements.

Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored solutions that address clients

specific challenges.

4. Proposal and Presentation:

Create compelling proposals and presentations that showcase the unique benefits of

our Data Centre colocation services.

Articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner for executive

level understanding.

5. Negotiation and Deal Closure:

Lead negotiations with clients to secure agreements that align with their strategic

goals.


Meet and exceed sales targets through effective deal management and closing

techniques.

6. Market Intelligence:

Stay abreast of industry trends competitor offerings and market dynamics.

Provide valuable insights to internal teams for product and service enhancements.



Requirements

Person Specification

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or a related field is preferred.

Having Masters is A bonus

Experience 5- 10

Proven track record in B2B sales with a focus on Data Centre

colocation services.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the

ability to engage at the C-level.

Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial

implications in client decision-making.

Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles and

close high-value deals.


Other personal and

Proactive and results-driven mindset with a focus on

exceeding targets.

Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and

industry events

Has relentless high standards and is action and results
