Job Description

SALES EXECUTIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Accra

Industry: Manufacturing/Retail/FMCG/Insurance/Automobile




Scope


The Sales Executive will be responsible for supporting sustaining growing and developing the core sales activities of the organization and overseeing the Advertising & digital marketing footprint.


Key Responsibilities


  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products/services.
  • Follow up with leads and close deals.
  • Search for new clients in identified market segments.
  • Schedule and conduct sales presentations or product demos.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and social media team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and improve brand visibility.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Prepare and submit core sales and market analysis reports.
  • Provide market intelligence and report on new trends to improve sales.
  • Assist in developing product knowledge and making creative inputs.
  • Assist with the general day-to-day management of operations in line with sales.
  • Operate the order management system for sales.
  • Plan and organize events activations and exhibitions.
  • Stay up-to-date on company offerings and industry trends.


Requirements

Requirements

  • A Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing or any related field of study.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role or its equivalent.
  • Understand basic principles of marketing and sales.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Working knowledge in the use of Facebook Instagram and WhatsApp Google Business.
  • Knowledge of graphic design will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite or CRM software.
