Daily Business
Supports within daily business for trade compliance topics e.g. export control Incoterms 2020
- Develops and implements trade compliance instructions and standards for China
- Ensures Know-how transfer
- Standardize the trade compliance processes within the region
- Supports by the onboarding of business partners
- Reviews plants regarding trade compliance
- Supports operational within trade compliance issues
- Monitors agreements from trade compliance perspective
- Develops and Supports by implementation of IT solutions for trade compliance
- Supports within HS classification of goods
- Support Law&Compliance team in topics related to China.
Operational Support and direct contact for dedicated OESL Organizations
- Ongoing support for trade compliance related issues in China
- Standard operating procedures required procedures and desk top instructions for plants within China
- Develops and implements special trade compliance procedures in China
- Support Law&Compliance team in topics related to China.
Ensuring Customs Compliance for dedicated OESL Organizations
- Set and track countermeasures
- Information about impact on business
- Monitor trade compliance legislation and ist impact on operational activities within China
- Monitor and Review Compliance with internal trade compliance procedures of OESL
Support in Trade Compliance Implementation for dedicated legal entities
- Export control CBAM and EUDR management
- HS Code classification Dual-use classification export control evaluation of applicability
- Support regarding licenses and permissions
- Aligned contact with official authorities
Support in Process Optimization
- Adaption to new trade compliance legislation in China
- Trigger Simplifications
- Support handling of special requests from trade compliance
- Support Law&Compliance team in topics related to China.
Qualifications :
Bachelor degree or similar degree /qualification in the field of operations / logistics / international trade
Several years of professional experience in the area of customs
Experience in the standardization of customs processes
Experience as a customs responsible
Project management experience
Several years of leadership experience
Experienced in working successfully on an international level in projects as well as direct responsibility
Expert knowledge on legal regulations - customs legislation in the region China
Extensive knowledge in rollout of standards (e.g. documentation release enforcement)
Excellent communication skills including presentation
