Job Description

The Mixing Floor Supervisor will:

organizes and directs the daily activities of the mixing operation on the shift assigned.  Is accountable for the quality of the product quantity and efficiencies equipment in the area and keeping the area safe neat clean and orderly.  Keeping all records for assigned employees up to date.  Conduct safety meetings at the start of the shift. 

  1. Responsible for department safety by conducting safety talks mill drills business team meetings and keeping the assigned area neat clean and orderly.
  2. Responsible for Quality operation by running product to specifications and adhering to standard practice. Monitoring the Mixing operation to assure the equipment is operating to specifications using the correct components correct disposition of stock and following standard operating procedures.
  3. Responsible to meeting productivity guidelines.
  4. Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering to keep equipment in proper operation condition.
  5. Coordinate with scheduling changes in schedules and plant and customer production needs.
  6. Understanding and compliance with ISO.
  7. Keep daily reports
  8. Evaluate and train employees counsel employees on issues of discipline and attendance problems.
  9. Ensure all ESH procedures policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.          NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.

 


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or 5 years experience required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing supervision experience.
  • Mixing experience

Environment:

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. 
  • New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends. 
  • The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold) forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
  • The role involves various physical tasks including lifting bending stooping pushing pulling and operating machinery with comprehensive training provided.

The starting annual salary for this role is $68940 a year.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations
