Job Description
The Cloud Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in our organization designing implementing and managing cloud-based solutions that are crucial in meeting our business needs and aligning with our strategic goals. They collaborate with cloud providers IT teams and stakeholders to plan execute and optimize cloud migrations and deployments with a keen focus on scalability security and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and Implement Cloud Solutions: Develop and implement cloud architectures that meet specific business requirements taking into account factors such as performance security and cost.
2. Lead the charge in cloud strategy and adoption as the Cloud Solution Architect. Youll be responsible for creating and managing cloud strategies ensuring a smooth transition for the organization and leading the adoption process.
3. As the Cloud Solution Architect youll be at the forefront of ensuring our cloud infrastructure performs as designed and can handle increasing workloads. Your role in monitoring maintaining and optimizing the system is crucial to our operations.
4. Cloud Migration and Deployment: Plan execute and manage cloud migration projects ensuring applications and data are moved to the cloud efficiently and securely.
5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with IT teams stakeholders and cloud providers to align cloud solutions with business needs and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
6. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and applications in the cloud ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
7. Optimization and Innovation: The Cloud Solution Architect role offers an exciting opportunity for continuous learning and innovation. You will be responsible for continuously monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure as well as exploring new cloud technologies and services to enhance efficiency and performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong technical skills: Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) virtualization networking and security.
2. Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues troubleshoot problems and develop innovative solutions.
3. Communication and collaboration skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
4. Experience with cloud migration and deployment: Proven experience in planning executing and managing cloud migration projects.
5. Understanding of business requirements: Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
6. Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Solutions Architect Expert Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are often preferred.
7. Relevant experience: Typically requires a bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field with 2-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure cloud computing or a related area.
