Job Overview
We are seeking a Desktop Network Support Field Engineer to join our team at EIL Global IT Solutions and Services Pvt Ltd. This part-time contract position is based in Sydney targeting candidates with a maximum of six years of experience. This mid-level role requires a versatile engineer to provide technical support across various IT technologies and play a pivotal role in our clients IT infrastructure development.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in imaging and reimaging systems is mandatory ensuring optimized and updated hardware operations.
- Strong network troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve connectivity issues across a range of platforms.
- Experience with Office 365 to manage and support cloud-based applications effectively for clients.
- Knowledge of Active Directory for managing network resources and user access within client environments.
- Ability to work with SCCM for deploying managing and updating systems to ensure client infrastructure remains current.
- Experience in Windows Administration for configuring monitoring and troubleshooting Windows server environments.
- High level of problem-solving skills to provide efficient and effective solutions to technical problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide field support for desktop and network issues travelling to client sites as needed to ensure system functionality.
- Implement and manage imaging and reimaging processes ensuring that all client systems are optimized and updated.
- Conduct regular network troubleshooting and maintenance for clients to ensure consistent reliable IT infrastructure performance.
- Administer and support Office 365 environments ensuring seamless user accessibility and functionality.
- Utilize Active Directory for effective management of network resources and ensuring secure access controls.
- Operate and maintain SCCM for efficient deployment and management of client systems and updates.
- Facilitate Windows administration tasks ensuring secure and effective running of clients Windows environments.
- Collaborate with clients to provide tailored IT solutions and support enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
