The Role:
We are seeking an exceptionally high-agency individual to take ownership of our business development efforts. This person will curate and grow our relationships with global-scale manufacturers elevating these partnerships to new heights as our technology evolves. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of revolutionizing manufacturing and catalyze the acceleration of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy.
Build and own the pipeline for partnerships and supplier relationships.
Manage and deepen relationships with global-scale manufacturers and strategic partners.
Create and manage legal frameworks for partnerships moving from initial agreements to binding contracts.
Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations manufacturing and engineering to develop compelling materials for customers.
Report directly to the CEO and work closely with heads of departments to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
Act as a key player in strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in fast-paced high-growth hardware or non-SaaS environments in operational or business development roles.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
High familiarity with tech and its application in the industry.
Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.
Willingness to travel extensively (25-50% of the time) if not based in Detroit.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering degree.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the tech industry.
Experience with global-scale manufacturers and understanding of the tool and die industry.
Location:
Preferred location: Detroit MI.
Remote candidates considered with a requirement to travel heavily to Detroit and other locations as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary range: $150000 to $250000 based on experience.
