Whatyoulldo:
-valueworkacrossthefullM&Alife-cyclewhichincludes:
- Ownthefinancialsacrossthedealpipeline:appraiseopportunitiesshapedealstructurefromafinanceperspectiveandprovidecriticalinputearlyinthetransaction.
- Directandchallengefinancialduediligence:-onduediligenceyourselfonsmallertransactions.
- Driveclosingreadiness:overseeexecutionofclosingmechanismswithprecisionandpace.
- Leadpost-dealaccounting:takechargeoffairvalueaccountingandacquisitionentrieswithexternaladvisorsensuringaccuracyandtransparency.
- Makeintegrationcount:standardisereportingaligncontrolsandleadfinancetransformationinnewlyacquiredbusinessesflexingyourapproachtosuitscaleandmaturity.
- Unlocksynergies:ensurepost-dealvaluecapturebyfollowingthroughoncommercialsynergiesandopportunitiesidentifiedindiligenceandimplementationofsmarterprocessesalignedreportingandjoined-upsystems.
- Shapestrategicfinanceprojects:workasakeymemberoftheGroupFinanceteamhelpingdriveinitiativesthatenhancecontrolefficiencyandshareholdervalue.
Youllhavethefollowingskillsandexperience:
- QualifiedCharteredAccountantwithextensivePQEgainedovermultipleyearsinconsultingandindustry.
- DirectexposuretoTransactionServicesorM&Apreferablycomingfromindustryalthoughconsultancywillbeconsideredmostimportantlyyouwillhavemanagedthefullend-to-endlifecycleofacquisitionswiththeabilitytointerrogateandinfluencedeal-criticalnumbers.
- Experiencewithinalargecomplexgroupenvironmentideallywithinternationaloperationsandcross-borderdynamics.
- Excellenttechnicalaccountingknowledgeespeciallyaroundacquisitionaccountingfairvalueandconsolidation.
- Collaborativemindsetanaturalteamplayerwiththecredibilityinfluenceandcommunicationskillstoworkacrossseniorstakeholdersandacquiredleadershipteams.
- Strongownershipanddeliveryfocuswiththeabilitytooperateatpacehittightdeadlinesandmanagecompetingprioritieswithconfidencemaintainqualityandaccuracy.
- Leadershipexperiencewithatrackrecordofleadinganddevelopingteamsdirectlyorindirectlyanddrivingfit-for-purposeimprovementsinfinancefunctionsparticularlyinnewlyacquiredormaturingbusinesses.
