Description

Job Mission

The Operations Officer reports directly to the Operations Supervisor and is responsible for the comprehensive administration of loan portfolios securities collaterals and related legal frameworks. This role ensures the accurate and timely execution of debt modifications and collateral updates in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Additionally the Operations Officer manages debtor requests maintains process integrity and works closely with internal teams to support the successful achievement of CEPALs operational goals and meet investor requirements.

Main Accountabilities

  • Executes loan restructurings and modifications (secured and unsecured) in line with credit approvals and internal policies.
  • Manages collateral documentation and updates ensuring accurate registration and data integrity.
  • Handles daily debtor requests performs loan account reconciliations and resolves discrepancies or unmatched payments.
  • Administers loan exposures under state frameworks (e.g. Bankruptcy Law Covid-19 directives) in coordination with legal advisors and internal teams.
  • Supports front-line units by validating documentation and executing systemic actions (e.g. lien waivers paid-off certificates).
  • Drafts operational and legal documents such as loan modification contracts and legal notices.
  • Liaises with internal teams including wholesale SME portfolios legal and real estate to ensure compliant operations.
  • Ensures adherence to internal policies operational risk standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in audits risk assessments and process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepares and contributes to MIS and performance reports using core systems (Profits Thesis Qualco Arotron).


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in economics finance banking or a related field.
  • 3 years minimum experience in operational roles within financial services or loan servicing.
  • Hands-on experience with loan administration legal documentation and collateral management.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English (written and verbal)
  • Strong computer literacy proficient in MS Office and relevant loan systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks and regulatory environment.
