Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Producing monthly reports figures and statistics using Microsoft office products.
- Supporting the Financial Controller in production of the end-to-end monthly management accounts.
- Production of monthly accruals prepayments
- Journal preparation
- Fixed asset maintenance
- Variance and sales analysis
- Daily posting of the bank statements
- Liaise with third parties including banks HMRC auditors and other stakeholders
- Prepare and submit Quarterly VAT Returns
- Purchase Sales and Nominal Ledgers
- Weekly supplier payment runs through the bank
- 37.5 hour week / Office Based - potential hybrid working / 23 days hols bank holidays
Person Specification
- At least 3 years experience in a similar finance role is essential
- AAT Level 4 qualification or working towards this qualification or currently studying CIMA / ACCA
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent customer service skills are essential
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team is essential
- Ability to remain self-motivated
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Good attention to detail and quality in all aspects of work is essential
- Good interpersonal skills are essential
