An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Claydon High School as an exceptional Inclusion Coordinator - Learning and Cognition. This is a key role in supporting students with barriers to learning cognition and academic achievement. This post is vital in coordinating SEN provision and interventions that improve outcomes for disadvantaged learners and those with additional needs.
This is a new role within the school and provides a unique opportunity to join a compassionate and student-focused pastoral team.
Ultimately we are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can build positive relationships with all stakeholders. Proven experience of supporting a range of students knowledge of early help procedures and confidence in referring to and working with external agencies are crucial to this role.
Claydon High School is a popular oversubscribed and friendly comprehensive school on the outskirts of Ipswich; we are situated close to the A14 with easy transport links across Suffolk and into Essex. We are a small school with 773 students on roll which means that there is a close working relationship with all the staff and students in the school. As part of the Penrose Learning Trust we also work closely with other schools within the MAT to achieve excellence through collaboration.
