About the role
Caring for a loved one is important work. Some days caring brings great joy but some days it can be lonely or a little overwhelming. No matter how you feel today our Carer Gateway will be just a phone call away. Carer Gateway is provides carers with information support counselling and coaching.
You will inspire your team provide high quality counselling and coaching to carers accessing support through the Carer Gateway Program. You will ensure your team have what they need to do their best work; they understand the expectations particularly service quality and have the skills capacity and capability they need to meet these expectations. Helping your team to recognise the impact of their work you will celebrate the wins embrace the opportunities for improvement and build upon their potential.
Duties
Co-Lead a team to ensure the provision of quality services that maximise client outcomes while meeting funding organisational service and compliance objectives.
Support team members in understanding and applying the organisations vision values and direction in their everyday practice to achieve performance expectations and improve client outcomes.
Collaborate with the Leadership team to ensure team operations are commercially effective and sustainable identifying opportunities for process improvement and more effective working methods.
Identify and facilitate learning opportunities support compliance with internal and external standards and contribute to the implementation of new operating models and service improvements.

Skills and Experience
Significant experience in practice leadership and/or qualifications in management may help you to succeed.
Previous experience in Counselling including Group Work and Clinical supervision are preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with and/or knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relating to the service.
You have great leadership skills which include the ability to troubleshoot manage multiple deadlines manage staff and client conflict resolution.
An excellent communicator with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Open and adaptable to build trust and share accountability in a co-leadership role.
You demonstrate a strong passion for supporting your team in meeting expectations and enhancing their capabilities. You do this by consistently providing constructive actionable recognition and feedback which leads to improved client outcomes greater employee engagement and ongoing development.
