About the Role
Our client focused on National Security is looking for an Senior Project Officer with Negative Vetting Level 1 or above for a 12-month contract (with extension options) to operate from their Canberra location.
The successful candidate will work as a Project Officer who will assist in the operations of a Project/Program/Portfolio Office and the delivery of projects.
Key duties:
- Project Support: Provide support to a multi-disciplined project team and coordinate project activities including support to strategic planning governance functions and human resource management with the ERP context.
- Project Management Experience: Responsible for the management of schedule risk and resources preparation of briefings submissions reports and returns relating to the project progress and issues in accordance with organisational requirements.
- Methodology application: Apply established technical operational professional and administrative activities procedures practices and project management methodologies.
