As part of our ongoing growth we are seeking a skilledFabricator/Welderto join our team at ourThurnscoe facility.
In this role you will:
- Use bothMIG (GMAW)andTIG (GTAW)welding techniques to fabricate high-quality components.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision.
- Ensure all work meets our rigorous quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment adhering to all PPE and health & safety protocols.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Advanced Welding Skills (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
What Youll Be Doing:
Safety First: Uphold the highest safety standards in line with company policies.
Precision Work: Read and interpret technical drawings to execute projects to perfection.
Welding Expertise: Use MIG or TIG welding techniques to deliver top-tier results.
Fabrication Tools: Operate state-of-the-art fabrication equipment to shape materials with precision. Quality Control: Inspect your work to ensure it meets both company and industry standards.
Equipment Maintenance: Keep welding tools and equipment in prime condition with routine checks. Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the team to meet production targets and deadlines. Process Improvement: Contribute innovative ideas to improve welding techniques and product quality.
Keep It Tidy: Maintain an organized and clean workspace for optimal safety and efficiency.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Qualifications: City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Advanced Welding Skills (or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven expertise in steel fabrication and welding techniques (MIG/TIG).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication methods.
- Safety & Quality: A commitment to maintaining high safety standards and ensuring quality in every project.
