Job Description
- Design and adapt instructional strategies to meet the unique learning styles of each student.
- Assess student development track progress and adjust instructional methods as needed to maximize growth.
- Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) ensuring targeted instruction and measurable progress.
- Maintain consistent open communication with families caregivers and team members to promote collaborative support.
- Contribute to a cohesive learning environment through collaboration with general education staff therapists and administrators.
Requirements
- Strong teamwork communication and behavior management skills.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of child development and early intervention strategies.
- Experience in early childhood special education settings is preferred but not required.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License with an LBS1 and Early Childhood Special Education endorsement.
